Envy. There is something about the other person which bothers an individual and keeps him/her restless. There are numerous questions which cloud a person's thinking: "Why is he able to do it and not me?", "Why is she so talented?", "What does he do to be at the top of the game?" etc. are some of them. What really irritates an individual is that he/she is not in a state which the other enjoys. All of a sudden, a number of realizations dawn upon him/her. Ultimately, it is about the individual himself/herself and does not involve the other person at all. And most of the time, feeling envious is a wake-up call to question oneself if he/she is on track with his/her goals and ambitions.
P.S Envy is a great teacher. The next time you feel envious, it will be wise to reflect on what is that you haven't achieved yet but wish to accomplish before your departure from earth.
